His brother is Hollywood movie star Owen Wilson.
He is best known for his roles in films such as Idiocracy, Old School, Bottle Rocket, The Royal Tenenbaums, Blue Streak, Bongwater, and Legally Blonde.

When was Luke involved in a crash?
On February 14, 208 it was reported that Luke and golfer Bill Haas were involved in a car crash that left on person dead and two injured.
A car being driven by Luke was hit by a Ferrari just before the horrific smash in LA which a local fire department initially said left Haas badly hurt.
Los Angeles Police Department said Wilson's Toyato FJ SUV was clipped by the Ferrari moments before the sports car was in collision with a BMW in the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood at 6.31pm on February 13.
The actor was not believed to have been injured.
But the driver of the Ferrari, in which 35-year-old Haas was travelling, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hass and a 50-year-old woman were taken to hospital.
