A black belt holder in martial arts, Kumar is an inspiration for many. Contrary to most stars and their ways, he is rarely seen being part of late-night parties and events. Wondering why?   1. Early to bed, early to rise: Be it in his appearances on television shows or interviews, Akshay Kumar several times talks about the importance of sleeping timely and waking up early. The actor often talks about being fond of his non-party loving lifestyle – and of course, early-to-bed, early-to-rise regime. The actor reportedly retires to bed at 9 pm and starts his day at 4.30-5 am.
  2. Vegan by choice: A self-confessed foodie, Kumar does not deprive himself of anything. From carbohydrates to proteins to fats, he eats everything. But the best part is that he does not get any of his nutrients from dairy or meat – the actor is vegan by choice and relies only on plant-based foods.
  3. No to protein shakes: Unlike most people who prefer protein shakes and supplements to meet their daily needs, Kumar relies on natural sources of the macronutrient.
