The United States doesn't have a monopoly on first ladies with modeling experience. At today's Versace show, former first lady of France Carla Bruni reminded us all that she's one of the original supers.
Before she married Nicolas Sarkozy, the Italian-born Bruni was a staple on the European runways, working with brands like Christian Dior, Givenchy, and Yves Saint-Laurent, in addition to Versace.
She then went on to a successful music career, and, of course, became first lady of the French Republic, but today's walk alongside legends like Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, and Helena Christensen proves that when it comes to modeling, she's still got it.
