Explore the castle

Wonderful architectural masterpiece. Built in 1820 by William Crawshay it's more of a country manor than a castle. It's beautiful to look at from all sides and it makes a great photo opportunity. The grounds are gorgeous, with a lake to walk around, forests, many trees and flowers. It's quite pretty. The lake usually had ducks too. Inside the castle there is a museum firstly about the local area and secondly about the Crawshay family and his art collection. It's quite informative.
