You can't miss it here, it's really a gem of the area. Good for spending the whole day or just come by walking. There are a few Pousadas and some Beach Clubs, is one of the nicest spots here.

Almost 2 hours driving from Maceió, capital of Alagoas (Brazil). For those looking for a quieter, energizing and “unpretentious” beach to relax for a couple of days, Toque Beach is - along with Patacho Beach - the place to stay. Very nice boutique hotels (pousadas) can be found with great fresh food and service. The water is calm and warm - feels like a jacuzzi somehow. You can also walk trough the Brazilian coral reef which is close to the shore - Brazilian coast provides the second largest corals reef in the world.

You can walk in the water to go snorkeling at the natural pools! During low tide you don't need a boat to get there! Better than Maragogi, because there are not lots of boats and people. The reefs are more preserved.

The best sea in Alagoas. Warm, calm, and turquoise clear. The beach is crowned with a mixture of short and long palm trees. Very tranquil stretch of sand to walk, relax and inspire. The sand is not as nice as other beaches such as Ipioca and Patacho and there were many shells and algae with the tide down. Not a problem for me. Actually, that is how nature works. But some people may not like that. As far as I could see, there were two signs of colonization: the visibly expensive Pousada do Toque and some restaurant with tents and chairs on the beach. Aside from that, the beach is yours. There are two ways of getting to this beach. One is walking south from praia Porto da Rua where the jangadas come and go. This should take around 25-30 minutes. The other is through a passageway going right next to the Pousada do Toque. This is shorter. If by car, drive right to the entrance of the pousada, park the car somewhere and walk 5 minutes to the beach.

A real secluded beach
The most beautiful and wild Brazilian beaches have a sad tradition in turning to be a spoiled, popular and devastated beach in few years. I honestly hope that doesn’t happen with Praia do Toque. It is a really wild and secluded beach, a small paradise. I spent a week there in March and saw the same few persons every day, including native and tourists. The nature, fauna and flora, including the subaquatic treasures, are intact and the waters are warm, shallow and pristine. The coral pools, where you can reach with “jangadas” are the best place for snorkeling.

Beautiful area surrounded by coconut trees, calm waters and local ambiance. Beautiful at night with the full moon reflections. You may find people who like to bathe in the sun without clothes during the day in certain spots of the long Toque beach.

A very beautiful beach, surrounded by coconut trees, hot and calm waters, perfect for children and everyone who loves sea and sun. During low tide you can walk kilometers into the sea and the water will not pass your knee. Amazing colors. It's sad, however, to find trash in the sand...

Clean, warm waters. The open sea is pretty far away due to the coral reefs. The water is quite shallow, even when going pretty far into the water. Low tide started around noon and by night the tide gets back up and gets some minor waves. The color varies between light green, turquoise and emerald.

That's it: the most beautiful beach in Brazil: calm, few people, blue and green water, hot water.
