Why Mike Tyson doesn't regret face tattoo
Sports Illustrated's Jon Wertheim spoke to Mike Tyson in an interview very much worth reading (head over here to do that) and brought up the famous tattoo on the former boxer's face that he's had since 2003.
Q: Someone said you Google Mike Tyson, first thing comes up, face tattoo.
A: Oh, man.
Q: Regret it or no?
A: No. A lot of stuff happened out of this tattoo, a lot of good stuff. Other young athletes come to me and say, It's because of you they call it the Mike Tyson.
Tyson's also defended the decision to get the tattoo in previous interviews, saying at in 2015 that he thinks it inspired over a million people to also get a face tattoo. In 2011, his tattoo artist sued Warner Brothers after one of those people - Ed Helms' fictional character in The Hangover 2 copied Tyson's face tattoo in the movie.
