Already an accomplished actress, Diane Kruger is now the new face of the Calvin Klein Beauty fragrance, and expertly embodies the campaign's "beauty from the inside out" philosophy. We caught up with Diane to find out how she got involved with Calvin Klein, and whether the feminine fragrance gets the thumbs up from boyfriend Joshua Jackson. What's it like being involved with Calvin Klein Beauty? Calvin Klein Beauty, I have to say, I truly love. I was so thrilled when they called and asked me to be the face of the campaign. To be a part of that group of Calvin Klein women is something I'm really proud of. I've always admired the women in their campaigns. I think the first time I looked at an advertisement it must have been Eternity with Christy Turlington, the most beautiful woman in the world. You can be such a style chameleon, do you use a stylist? I can't imagine having someone dress me. I don't use a stylist because I think I'm old enough to know what looks good on me and what doesn't. I feel that fashion is really a personal thing. I prefer something that is special, and has a unique cut. I prefer an understatement rather than showing too much cleavage, short skirts, or too much make-up. I am much more understated. To me, it's about elegance. How would you describe Calvin Klein Beauty? It's a very sophisticated fragrance. A very fresh spicy scent - on my skin it becomes very musky. It is definitely boyfriend-approved! What does beauty mean to you? To me, beauty is a woman who carries herself in a certain way. I'm someone who believes that true beauty comes from a calmness within, a self confidence: a woman who is sure of her seductiveness and comfortable in her skin.
