What, you thought death was going to keep Black Canary down? Katie Cassidy — following the example of fellow Arrowverse actors John Barrowman and Wentworth Miller — has just inked a new deal that will make her a series regular across all Greg Berlanti-produced, DC Comics-based superhero shows on the CW. Despite her Black Canary/Laurel Lance character on Arrow being tragically killed off this past spring, Cassidy soon appeared on The Flash as Black Siren, and she’s expected to make frequent appearances on Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and The Flash, beginning in the fall. Her specific arcs are yet to be revealed. But death is only the beginning, after all.
