Fans of Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd have flooded the comments section of an Instagram post his girlfriend, Bianca Wallace, shared on his 50th birthday in which the star was seen recreating a scene from Titanic, in which he starred.
The now 50-year-old from Aberdare rose to fame after he portrayed Harold Lowe in the legendary 1997 James Cameron film and in one particular scene, he was seen calling out to any survivors of the shipwreck. As he toasted his milestone birthday with his partner, Bianca shared a video of the pair of them on a boat - but instead of raising a glass in luxury, Ioan was seen having a laugh and recreating this very scene.
Captioning the video clip, Bianca wrote: "I can [no] longer in good conscience withhold this from the world… Especially on such a special day! You’re welcome." As the camera panned from the gorgeous cliffside, blue ocean and sky to Ioan, the actor was seen saying those famous words: "Is there anyone alive out there? Can anyone hear me? Hello!"

Shortly after this clip was posted, fans of the actor, who was previously married to actress Alice Evans, with whom he shares two daughters, couldn't get enough and filled Bianca's comments section with messages of awe and love - with many stating that it had made their day.
One wrote: "This made the 11 year old obsessed with the Titanic movie version of me so happy! Thanks for sharing. Happy birthday to Ioan!"
"This is a Public Service Announcement! Myself and all Ioan Gruffudd fans the world over would like to thank Bianca Wallace for not withholding this wonderful clip from us all! This is truly epic," said another.
A third fan added: "Omg!!!! I didn't expect that. I laughed so hard I my tea went up my nose. Happy Birthday to you. x"
This wasn't the only birthday post Bianca, Ioan's girlfriend since October 2021, shared with 13.7k followers. Earlier in the day she posted a series of adorable pictures in celebration of his big birthday.
She wrote: "My favourite day of the year - The day that this precious human came into this world! It is a pure joy to share life with you, Yo Yo. Everyone who has the honour of knowing you knows what a special and incredible person you are and I will never not be grateful that someone like you has come into my life.
"Happy birthday to the sweetest, most kind souled human that I have ever met! Now let us all pray together and ask that we age as well as this guy, because seriously… 50 looks glorious on you, my love."
Fans soon rushed into the comments to wish the Hornblower star a happy birthday.
One wrote: "Happy 50th Ioan!!! Embrace it!!! Your next chapter will be even better!!! Looking forward to you working again. Fantastic pics Bianca! Love the one with Bubba Bear. He makes 50 look so good!!! Enjoy this special day!!!"
