It’s like a love letter to their homeland. After getting caught in a traffic jam, a whimsically-dressed Shaki escapes her vehicle and walks over the other cars, stopping when Vives offers her a bicycle. It’s a song about pain, but the video’s a pleasure to watch! Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz plays Shakira’s cheating former lover, who watches her from the window of another woman’s apartment. The lyrics are a dialogue between the exes: he makes excuses and wants her back, but she isn’t having it, since it was torture when he left her. The tables are turned now, though, as he’s the one being tortured by memories of their relationship. Haunting him like a dark spirit, Shaki puts her belly dance skills on full display while covered in black paint, looking powerful, sexy and slightly menacing all at once. It’s a memorable scene that totally makes the video.
