Aurel Schmidt

Aurel Schmidt is a New York-based Canadian artist who uses a mixture of pencil, colored pencil, paint, blood, beer and semen to create her pieces. She makes detailed drawings of surreal figures, combining tiny illustrations of flies, insects, condoms, cigarette butts and other detritus to make the larger image.
