Marvel Announces 'Moon Knight' Trailer Release Date

Having dropped short teasers along the way, Marvel Studios is now ready to release the first official trailer for its upcoming Disney+ series Moon Knight.

Announcing the news over on Twitter, the Disney-owned streaming service Hulu revealed that the first full-length look at the series will drop during the NFL Super Wild Card matchup later today on ESPN and ABC. Moon Knight will introduce the enigmatic anti-hero — also known as Marc Spector — to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, played by the beloved Star Wars and Dune veteran Oscar Isaac alongside Ethan Hawke, who'll take on the role of the main villain in season one.

An unconventional take on a superhero, Spector is a former CIA agent and Marine who suffers from multiple personalities. Upon being seemingly murdered during one of his mercenary missions, the character is brought to an Egyptian tomb in front of a statue of the Moon God Khonshu, who bestows Spector with mystical superpowers, raising him from the dead and creating the Moon Knight.

There's currently no official release date for Moon Knight, but Marvel fans should definitely be on the lookout for its new trailer dropping later today.

Elsewhere in entertainment, DC Comics has announced a sequel to Flashpoint.
