With its dual humbucking pickups, resonant maple construction, and versatile controls, the L6S Limited Edition brings back a great voice that's all Gibson, yet something a little different too.

One of the more intriguing new models to emanate from Gibson in the mid 1970s, the L6S was favored by Carlos Santana and Rich Williams of Kansas, along with several other notable players of the day, and quickly proved its power born from a marriage of Gibson tradition and a sleek, efficient, modern design ethos.

The glued-in Grade-A maple neck neck is carved to a fast, slim profile that measures .800 inches at the 1st fret and .930 inches at the 12th. It is topped with a Grade-A maple fingerboard fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and 12 inch radius for easy, choke-free bending. The classic pairing of Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece keep it all solid at the body end, while a set of great Grover kidney button tuners assure smooth efficiency north of the PLEK-cut Corian nut.

Electronics

In the electronics department, the L6S Limited Edition goes for a blend of classic Gibson and contemporary versatility.
