I am part of the new generation of Brazilian talents and I have built a solid career in the fashion industry in less than a decade.
My collections start with the elegant and sophisticated shapes from my sketches. Through them, I am able to develop themes and build unique silhouettes, which are important features of my work.
My design training at Technical course in Styling and Modeling at UFMG Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais – Brazil, has given me expertise in modeling and a keen, demanding eye for detail.
I have worked with many distinguished brands in the fashion industry. Those experiences gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge and acquire a critical vision of the industry, making me a wellrounded professional.
I am an expert in tailoring, hand embroidery, fabric , and print development. This expertise allows me to create clothes that are both sophisticated and bold, and that value the curves of the female body.
Fine arts and global cultures are my main influences to create a contemporary design.
My unique sense of aesthetics allowed me to become a skilled fashion stylist and producer for campaigns and runway shows.
Some of my designs are featured in the book Nocturnal Delight , by the Dutch photographer Hans Withoos. We have worked together in several projects, including the exhibition of photographs of the Fernando Silva + Hans Withoos + Jolanda Cats campaign at Eduard Planting Gallery Fine Art Photographs, in Amsterdam.
I was invited by INTRODANS International Dance Company to design the ballet costumes for the Jubilee program INTRODANS VIER 40, in Arnhem, as well as for the Introdans ballet celebrating the 75th birthday of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands Dutch Royalty Family , in Utretch.
The photos from the campaign Venice, Dutch Golden Age and Gustav Klimt were exhibited at FAT – Fashion Art Toronto.
I was also invited by Orange Babies, an NGO from Holland, to feature some of my designs in the book My Name is Blessing – from Zambia with love , in benefit of children and teenagers with HIV in Zambia, Africa.
Lastly, my work is often featured in international magazines:OOB (France),Normal Magazine (France),MAG (Morocco),Fonk Magazine (Netherlands),IV Mag (Brazil), Elle (Brazil ).
