A Uruguayan footballer Jorge Ciro Fucile Perdomo is currently playing for Porto. The defender was born on 19 November 1984 in Montevideo.
In 2002, Jorge grabbed the pro contract with the local club Liverpool Montevideo and his career began. He made 30 appearances netting two times for the club. In 2006, a loan happened to Porto. Fucile managed a fabulous debut season with the temporary team winning the Portuguese Cup. After such a success the squad’s head coach made it a priority to have this player at the club’s disposal. In 2007, a long term contract was finalized and Jorge became the team’s official member. The defender continued to make frequent appearances winning another 2 leagues’ titles. There are three victories in the Portuguese Cup (2008/2009, 2009/2010, 2010/2011) under Fucile’s belt. He was thrice holder of the Portuguese Supercup (2009, 2010 and 2011). He appeared in matches at the 2011 UEFA Super Cup as the squad finished second.
In 2012, the defender was loaned out by Santos. Jorge made some successful runs with the temporary squad winning the 2012 São Paulo State League.
In 2006, Fucile got his first invitation to play for the Uruguay national team. He immediately established himself as an important player making more than 30 appearances. The footballer took part in matches at the 2007 Copa América and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
