The world’s third best player and France’s winger, Franck Ribery has been forced to pull out of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The Bayern Munich talisman has pulled out of france’s squad for the World Cup as a result of an injury he sustained at his lower back during a training session on Friday.

The France winger has so far participated in two world cups in his carrier and is hoping to join the likes of Karim Benzima and Verane, his team mates.

Didier Deschamps, coach for the France national team has confirmed that the player has suffered an injury at his lower back, “He is not capable of training for a few weeks, let alone playing a game,”

Although it is a blow to the national team, it may pave way for other players who could’nt make the final squad, Remy Cabella and others.

According to Deschamps Ribery had to pull out of training.”He had to stop in training, the pain was too strong, as it ends his chance of being part of the national team for the World Cup consecutively.
