Mayra Aguiar is a professional Makeup Artist and Licensed Cosmetologist with over 15 years of experience based in Oakland, CA. She specializes in Makeup for Film, commercial shoots, Photo shoots, fashion shows, bridal parties, and special events. Mayra Aguiar has lived most of her life in Oakland California. Since a young age, she loved creating all kinds of Art while always feeling a gravitational pull towards Makeup since the age of 10.
In addition,Throughout the years Mayra has worked with photographers, Fashion Designers, Models, Fashion Shows Managers, Brides, and Short Film Directors proving Makeup services.

In 2018, Mayra Aguiar obtained her Cosmetology license at Laney College where she worked with the Photography department for almost two years. There she became very familiar with photoshoots, perfecting her skills in HD film and Photography makeup.

In 2018 Mayra Aguiar worked for Time Zone Vintage clothing in a photo shoot, Proving makeup services for models.

In 2019 Mayra Aguiar became a published Makeup artist by having her work featured By Sangre Magazine. In 2019 Mayra Aguiar worked for San Francisco’s Fashion Community week, providing makeup for Coutureme bridal collection as well as other fashion designer models.

In 2019 Mayra Aguiar also worked as a Makeup Artist in a Short Film and interview project for Cat Town’s Co-Founder and executive director Ann Dunn.
Furthermore, Mayra Aguiar continues to pursue her passion for Makeup in the beauty industry by taking up-to-date Makeup Courses (film, television, Fx, special events Makeup Certification courses). She is also up to date with State Board safety regulations and client protection procedures. Mayra is also Covid-19 Certified by Barbicide.
