Group C came to a close in the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday evening, with both Greece and Ivory Coast still able to make the last 16 ahead of their clash in Fortaleza.

At half-time, Greece led 1-0, enough to put them through to the last 16 after Andreas Samaris scored just a few moments before the break. Things switched in the second half when Wilfried Bony levelled the game, putting Ivory Coast back up to second place. But Georgios Samaras netted an injury-time penalty to give Greece a 2-1 win and send them through to the knockout stage.
