Luciano VIETTO is presently being linked with a move to Valencia.
The Atletico Madrid forward’s representatives will reportedly meet with Valencia’s board to discuss a potential move. VIETTO, who spent last season on loan to Sevilla, is reportedly being watched by English Premier League club Southampton and Serie A team Sampdoria.
It appears as though the Argentinian is not in Diego SIMEONE’s plans for the season. The former Racing Club man scored 10 times last season for his club.
Paulo DYBALA with two goals for Juventus in their Super Coppa 3-2 loss to Lazio.
It was a rollercoaster match for Paulo DYBALA and Gonzalo HIGUAIN in the Italian Super Coppa. Lazio took a 2-0 lead up until the 85th minute when Paulo DYBALA pulled one back for the old lady with a fantastic free kick. With the score at 2-1, Juventus were awarded a penalty kick in the 90th minute. And it was the man of the hour, up stepped Paulo DYBALA with his number 10 shirt and slotted it into the net.
However, it wasn’t meant to be for DYBALA or HIGUAIN as MURGIA scored in the 93rd minute for Lazio to win it.

Leandro PAREDES scores his first goal for Zenit and is it ever a beauty.
One of Zenit’s signings of the summer (if not the summer of the signing) scored his first goal for his new club. Zenit picked up 3 points in their 4-0 win against Terek Grozny and are three points clear at the top of the RFPL.
PAREDES, who was called-up to the Argentina National Team on Friday, started the match for the league leaders alongside Emanuel MAMMANA and Sebastian DRIUSSI.

Tottenham Hotspur coach Mauricio POCHETTINO has stated that he would like to coach the Argentina National Team.
Former Argentina international and coach of Tottenham would like to one day go back to Argentina and he has also stated the affection he has towards Marcelo BIELSA. Speaking in an interview, here’s what the Tottenham boss had to say:
“I would like to go back to Argentina one day. To coach Newell’s and the Argentina National Team. There’s a big difference between coaching there and in Europe, it’s very difficult gonig back, but it’ll happen.”
“I like seeing Marcelo, laughing and being more open as he explains his philosophy. I have a special affection (towards him), I’ve known him since I was 13 and for me is one of the top coaches.”
Sergio AGUERO scores the winner for Manchester City once more, this time in their 2-0 season opening win against Brighton. Kun has now scored 5 goals in 6 opening day matches for Manchester City and has now scored against 30 of the 31 different clubs he has faced in the English Premier League.
AGUERO’s goal came in the 70th minute after receiving a pass from David SILVA, Sergio slotted the ball behind RYAN for his first goal of the season.
As we reported yesterday, the Manchester City hitman is back in the Argentina National Team after receiving his first call-up from new coach Jorge SAMPAOLI. AGUERO was left out of SAMPAOLI’s first list back in June when the team defeated both Brazil and Singapore.
