Rose McGowan addresses Rain Dove relationship, now dating woman named Sienna

Rose McGowan has found happiness in her new relationship.

After Page Six exclusively reported that McGowan, 46, was spotted with a new woman in December following her relationship with Rain Dove, McGowan has come forward and identified her new partner — a woman named Sienna.

“I really don’t know. The whole thing is that I know people are a lot more comfortable with the labels,” McGowan said on the podcast “Shut Up Evan” of her sexual identity. “I’m in a relationship with this great young woman named Sienna right now, and she identifies as a lesbian, but I don’t identify … I don’t know.”

The former “Charmed” star wouldn’t elaborate on her situation with ex Dove but noted, “I’ll just say like … people come to you when you’re down and they might not be the right people.”

Dove, a transgender LGBTQ activist, and McGowan dated from February 2018 until this past summer. The breakup took a contentious turn after Dove admitted to selling private text messages from Asia Argento for $10,000 in which Argento appeared to admit to having sex with a minor.

Dove, who uses gender-neutral pronouns, added that they “really loved Rose” but thought “our relationship was probably for her benefit” because “it happened during a time in which she was being called out for being transphobic.” (McGowan was accused of making transgender exclusionary comments on RuPaul’s podcast last year.)

In response, McGowan tweeted about Dove, “Does anyone out there know how to fix a Wikipedia entry? I broke up with my ex 6 months ago and they are still listed as my partner. I would like my name to be cleared of association.”

Since moving on with Sienna, McGowan revealed, she’s found “a lot of comfort and happiness.”

“It was hard going out with somebody that was non-binary because then you’re like, ‘What am I like in real life?’ You’re not a girlfriend,” McGowan said of Dove, who identifies as non-binary. “I would say ‘girlfriend’ because I didn’t know what else to say. I had no idea what to like. What are you at that point? Like I think we just need a new dictionary.

“[Nomenclature] is so binary.”
