Blue-eyed beauty Lynda Carter will always be best known for her iconic role as TV's Wonder Woman in the '70s.

Prior to becoming a well-known actress, Carter won the Miss World USA pageant, in 1972. She then made it to the semi-finals in the Miss World pageant. She began her acting career making appearances on popular TV shows such as Starsky and Hutch.

Carter became a household name for generations when she landed the starring role in Wonder Woman. The show ran from 1975-1979.

Carter's starred in the title role in the biopic of Rita Hayworth: The Love Goddess and a variety of other TV movies, such as Danielle Steele's Daddy. She also starred in a few short-lived TV series, including Partners in Crime with Loni Anderson.

In 2001, Carter was cast in the independent comedy feature Super Troopers, and she appeared in the Dukes of Hazzard big screen remake in 2005. Returning t to her superhero past, she starred in an episodes of Smallville in 2007.

Carter has also done voiceover work for video games, performing voices for females in two computer games from The Elder Scrolls series.
