Jurgen Klopp set to offer £17.68million for Croatia and Besiktas defender after displays in Russia
Liverpool are ready to increase their bid for Croatian World Cup star Domagoj Vida, according to Fanatik.
The centre-back has impressed in Russia and having already made a £15.9million off for the Besiktas player, the Reds will now return with an improved offer.
The Turkish newspaper report they will now bid £17.68million for Vida, who has formed a good partnership with current Liverpool centre-back Dejan Lovren at World Cup 2018.
Besiktas, though, could demand as much as £30million for the player, who they only signed in January when he left Dynamo Kiev on a free transfer.
Vida has also courted controversy in Russia after comment he made after their victory over the host nation in the quarter-finals, which earned him a fine.
