Manchester City duo Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne are fit for Saturday’s FA Cup final against Manchester United, Pep Guardiola has confirmed.

Grealish and De Bruyne missed City’s final two Premier League games of their title-winning season, with Guardiola admitting several players were carrying “niggles”.

Defenders Manuel Akanji and Ruben Dias also sat out the final-day 1-0 defeat to Brentford, but Guardiola gave a positive health update on his squad ahead of the Wembley showdown.

Asked about De Bruyne and Grealish, the City boss said: “They trained well in the last two training sessions.

“No, all of them (the players) are more or less fine.”

As well as easing injury concerns, Guardiola confirmed that goalkeeper Stefan Ortega — who has played in all of the club’s domestic cup ties this season — would feature in the showpiece game.

Victory for City at Wembley would give them two-thirds of a potential treble, with next week’s Champions League final against Inter Milan still to come.

But Guardiola insists he is not looking further ahead.

“We should think about what we have to do to win this one game,” he said. “Nothing changes. We analyse the strengths of the opponent and see the weaknesses they have.

“It’s a football game, that’s the most important thing. We cannot control what’s on the outside. We do what we can to win the game.”

Manchester United will be without Anthony Martial on Saturday, and Ten Hag has admitted that Antony is also a doubt.
