• URUGUAY finish on top with 55% of the vote!

• Russia takes third with 10%

Ahh, Argentina. This is my blood, so I’m biased, I admit. But the pressure is on. This is a team that on paper should beat the world easily, but it never quite works out like that in real life. Still, they’ve scrapped their way to the finals of the 2014 World Cup, and the last two Copa Americas. The coach, Jorge Sampaoli, has said–I believe correctly, "Messi has a revolver put to his head called the World Cup.“ Can the team and its superstar live up to the pressure? And if not, will I ever be truly happy again? We shall see.

Patriotism is most often accomplished by mirroring national flags, but may also be done by appealing to other traditions like historic kits, national symbols, and other traditions.
  
• Design: Does the kit look good? That’s what this is about. Obviously this is a subjective category, but what are you gonna do?
  
• Details: A lot of national kits are really similar year after year; what sets them apart is the details. This is also a catch-all for the little things about a kit that don’t fall into design or patriotism that work to its favor or detriment.
