Injured Navas out of Gold Cup, surgery likely | FourFourTwo
Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas will have surgery on his injured Achilles, which will force him out of Costa Rica's CONCACAF Gold Cup squad. Costa Rica coach Paulo Wanchope confirmed Navas will miss the continental championship, which starts on July 7. Navas, who was a star at last year's World Cup, started his country's friendly against Spain earlier this month, but ongoing tendinitis in his heel looks set to send the 28-year-old to hospital.

Spanish newspaper AS have reported that Los Blancos will aim to sell Frenchman Raphael Varane in a bid to raise funds for the Italian international, despite the player apparently agreeing a new deal with Juventus. It is stated that they hope to sell Varane to English Premier League side Manchester United for an estimated fee of €40 million and in return will use €30 million to make a bid for Bonucci.

Ancelotti was fired by Madrid last month after finishing the 2014-15 campaign without a major trophy, before being succeeded at the Santiago Bernabeu by Rafa Benitez. It was suggested that Ancelotti -- eliminated by Juventus in the semifinals -- had to retain the Champions League in order to keep himself in the job, but Moggi claims Perez had already made up his mind about the Italian.

Diego Simeone has named Diego Godin and Koke as the two Atletico Madrid players who aren’t for sale, suggesting anyone else can leave for the right price. Sevilla have agreed a deal to sign Gael Kakuta from Chelsea on a permanent basis. The French winger, who spent last season on loan in the Primera Division with Rayo Vallecano, will arrive in Seville on Thursday to undergo a medical with the back-to-back Europa League winners.

There are reports that Sevilla have targeted Celta Vigo’s Santi Mina and Adil Rami of Milan to strengthen their squad for next season. Diario de Sevilla believes that the club’s sporting director Monchi wants to sign the pair and has received the approval of Coach Unai Emery.

Malaga to keep Amrabat, sign Carlos | Football Espana
Malaga have insisted Nordin Amrabat is staying at La Rosaleda and completed the signing of Braga winger Juan Carlos. AS cite reports from Turkey that claimed Trabzonspor wanted Amrabat and the forward was in the country to tie up the move. Malaga however deny that is the case as they plan on exercising their €3.5m option for Amrabat and have informed Galatasaray of their intention.

Sporting Gijon have rewarded Abelardo Fernandez for guiding the club back into La Liga by giving their coach a new contract until 2018. The former Barcelona and Spain defender only took charge of Sporting last May and will now lead them in the Spanish top flight after agreeing to extend his stay at the club.

Osasuna cash used in match-fixing? | Football Espana
The judge investigating a €2.4m hole in Osasuna’s accounts has said almost €1m of it may have been used for match-fixing in 2013-14. Mundo Deportivo reports a statement from the Pamplona court which alleges €250,000 was paid to Espanyol to ensure a draw in their match in the penultimate round of games.
