20-year-old named in South Korea's World Cup squad just days after making his debut

The Hellas Verona winger made his debut for his country in Monday's 2-0 international friendly victory over Honduras, before again featuring in the 3-1 loss to Bosnia-Herzegovina on Friday.

The 20-year-old former Barcleona academy man's inclusion appears to have come at the expense of Crystal Palace winger Lee Chung-yong, who was a surprise exclusion.

Swansea midfielder Ki Sung-yeung will captain Shin Tae-yong's side as they prepare to face Sweden, Mexico and Germany as they look to better their Group Stage exit last time around.
