Life in Germany is treating Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez well. Actually, he is treating the Bayer Leverkusen fans well with 33 goals in 53 games since his move in 2015. The Mexico international has returned to stardom in Germany and has the eyes of many clubs.

It appears as if Real Madrid, where he was loaned for the 2014-15 season, is one of the team's that may want him.

Real Madrid board member Santiago Aguado told Fox Sports that he would like Hernandez to return to the Spanish club.

"Yes, I would like that. We believe he is a great player," he said.

Hernandez scored nine goals in 33 games for Real Madrid but was always going to be a reserve behind Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale. It's hard to envision him returning, let alone returning and being more than a reserve. But Real Madrid fans have fond memories of the El Tri star.

After all, he did help Real eliminated city rival Atletico Madrid in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
