RICHMOND, British Columbia - Olympic 5,000 meter champion Sven Kramer says the changing ice conditions at the Olympic Oval are driving him "crazy."

Kramer says Wednesday's training session felt different from the ice on which he won his first gold on Saturday. The venue's ice has been affected by malfunctioning ice resurfacing machines on Sunday and Monday, and a Zamboni had to be brought in from Calgary.

On Wednesday, the ice was cleaned by machines from two different brands, which created a different ice quality.

Kramer is seeking gold in the 10,000 meters and the team pursuit, both set for next week.
