Pachuca’s Urretaviscaya earns FCWC Bronze Ball honor

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – Thanks to his outstanding play in the 2017 FIFA Club World Cup (FCWC), Pachuca’s Jonathan Urretaviscaya was named the Bronze Ball winner.

The duo of champion Real Madrid – Cristiano Ronaldo and Luca Modric – won the Golden Ball and Silver Ball, respectively.

Urretaviscaya, who had three goals and four assists in the Tuzos’ run to the 2016/17 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League title, had a goal and an assist in three FCWC games.  The 27-year-old Uruguayan also captured player of the match honor in victories over Wydad Athletic Club and Al Jazira.
