Watford agree signing of Roma defender Jose Holebas in £1.8million deal

Watford have completed a deal for Greece left back Jose Holebas from Roma for an initial fee of £1.8million, the Italian club have confirmed.
Roma announced on their official website on Thursday that Holebas, 31, will switch to the newly-promoted Premier League club in a move that could also include up to £350,000 worth of add-ons.
Holebas only joined Roma last summer after four seasons at Olympiacos and scored once in 24 Serie A appearances.

For large parts of 2014-15 he was the preferred option at left back to former England, Chelsea and Arsenal star Ashley Cole.
The Greek international also has 27 caps for his country, and featured in all four games as they made it to the last 16 of the 2014 World Cup.
Holebas, who can also play left midfield, has also played for German clubs 1860 Munchen and Viktoria Kahl.
