Atlanta United are reportedly interested in Juan Fernando Quintero. The 25-year-old FC Porto attacking midfielder has been impressing on loan at River Plate in Argentina. Before moving to Argentina to get more playing time he was heavily linked to a couple of MLS teams, one of them was the Chicago Fire, who own Quintero’s discovery rights.

Now reports out of Colombia suggest that Quintero, who’s currently with the Colombian national team getting ready for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, is on the move with multiple MLS clubs again interested in his services, one of them being Atlanta United.

Even though the Argentinean club has an option to buy, if they do exercise the option they’re expected to sell him to an MLS club.

Atlanta could be on the market for a new No. 10 soon if Miguel Almirón is sold to a European club next transfer window.
