Roman Burki - Switzerland
About the Player: Goalkeeper
Roman Burki earned the starting job at Dortmund in his first season with the club. With Swiss legend keeper Diego Benaglio retiring from the international game, a competition for starter opened up between three Bundesliga keepers - Burki, Yann Sommer, and Marwin Hitz. Out of the three, Burki had the more successful club season, but Sommer has the most experience at the international level. Although, Sommer played in two friendly losses for Switzerland back in March, and there is still no certainty to who will be starting for the Swiss team.

Prediction: Sommer starts, Switzerland will make it into the knockout round as a third place team and lose to Germany.
Mats Hummels*** - Germany
About the Player: Defender
Mats Hummels has become a mainstay on the German back-line and played a pivotal role in the winning of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Hummels will undoubtedly start alongside Jerome Boateng and Benedikt Howedes. Hummels has also been known to score from a defensive posture, and has shown tremendous distribution in his international career.
Marco Reus - Germany
About the Player: Winger
Marco Reus was sidelined for Germany's World Cup run in 2014 with a knee injury, but hopes to help his country capture another piece of silverware in 2016. Reus has scored nine goals in 29 caps with Germany, and has been a consistent offensive threat with Dortmund and his national team. Reus will provide a swagger up top for Germany, and can help feed Thomas Muller for scoring chances.
Julian Weigl* - Germany
About the Player: Midfielder
Julian Weigl received his first international call-up from Joachim Low for this summer's Euros, and it is thoroughly deserved. Weigl is a gritty player who can be a dangerous force both offensively and defensively. His passing is crisp and accurate and he has a knack for creating chances. Although, with players like Bastian Schweinsteiger and Toni Kroos in front of him, Weigl might find it difficult to break into the squad this summer.

Toughest Match: Poland, 16 June
Top Players: Manuel Neuer, Mesut Ozil, Thomas Muller
Manager: Joachim Low
Prediction: Hummels and Reus play majority of minutes, Weigl makes debut in late substitute appearance. Germany will easily win the group, taking all three matches, but will lose in the quarterfinals to Belgium.
Lukasz Piszczek - Poland
About the Player: Defender
Lukasz Piszczek is the defensive cornerstone for a Poland team that is on the rise. Capped 45 times, the 31-year-old is a big reason why the White Eagles could be contenders this summer. Piszczek is one of the best full backs in Europe, and excels at limiting opportunities for opposing offenses. Piszczek and Kamil Glik will pair-up to help Poland try to advance into the knockout rounds.
Jakub Blaszczykowski** - Poland
About the Player: Midfielder
Jakub Blaszczykowski is Poland's most-capped player at this summer's Euros, making 77 appearances for his country. In that time, Kuba has scored 16 goals. Despite falling out of favor at the club level, Kuba will be very much in-favor for Poland. He has shown his attacking prowess on numerous occasions for both club and country, and represents one of Poland's most dangerous offensive threats.

Prediction: Poland and Ukraine will battle for second place in the group, with Poland ultimately getting the spot in the round of 16 where Poland will lose to Romania or Switzerland.
Nuri Sahin - Turkey
About the Player: Midfielder
Nuri Sahin has had his injury troubles in the past, but recovered to have an excellent second half of the season with Dortmund. Sahin has made 47 international appearances for Turkey, scoring twice. The midfielder is best known for his defensive prowess, preventing opponents from getting forward while creating chances on offense. Sahin can be a dangerous player when used correctly, and will be a valuable asset for Turkey this summer.

Toughest Match: Spain, 17 June
Top Players: Arda Turan, Burak Yilmaz, Selçuk İnan
Manager: Fatih Terim
Prediction: Sahin will get a fair amount of playing time, regardless of whether he starts or not. Turkey will unfortunately not advance to the knockout rounds, finishing either third or fourth in Group D.
Ciro Immobile** - Italy
About the Player: Striker
Ciro Immobile is just getting back to fitness after suffering an injury that pretty much sidelined him since March. Immobile is a skillful finisher that has the ability to lead an attack. He is also very strong with an attacking-mindset that creates numerous scoring chances.
