From bench warmer to world beater: How Bayern's Dante took his long walk to freedom

In his first season at Bayern Munich he won every trophy there was to win. He played his part in the Champions League obliteration of Barcelona and beyond, was an ever-present in the record-breaking defence that shipped a miserly 18 Bundesliga goals, and helped Brazil lift the Confederations Cup in the same year he made his national team debut. 

In a nutshell, 2013 was a rather good year for Dante.
