It's fair to say Memphis Depay has hit the ground running since joining Lyon from Manchester United, but there was no running required in his effort which eventually won him Ligue 1's Goal of the Season!

Having already bagged a goal in Lyon's thumping of Toulouse, the Dutchman, spotting Alban Lafont off his line, picked up the ball on the halfway line before driving a shot high over the keeper's head.
"I didn't even see the ball go in, I just heard everyone go crazy," Depay told Canal Plus at the time.
"I'd tried one like that a few years ago and it hit the bar. I saw the goalkeeper was playing off his line in the first half and I kept that in the back of my mind."
