Crystal Palace are reportedly keen to sign the Galatasaray ace.
According to a report from Turkish media outlet Haberturk, Crystal Palace are plotting a €6 million (£5.3 million) bid for Galatasaray’s attacking midfielder Younès Belhanda.
Roy Hodgson will be desperate to bolster his ranks at Selhurst Park this summer, as he looks to build a group of players who are capable of making a sustained push for the top 10 this season.
One particular area where the 70-year-old will want to bolster is his attacking midfield department, with more creativity and guile needed at Selhurst Park.
Turkish publication Haberturk claims that Crystal Palace have identified Belhanda as the ideal summer recruit, and are plotting an opening offer of £5.3 million to secure his services.
The report does go on to suggest that Galatasaray will demand more money for the 50-capped Morocco international, although it is unclear as to how much the Eagles are willing to stretch to.
Belhanda is more of a provider than a goalscorer, and he would undoubtedly bring more of a cutting edge to Palace’s attacking play this season.
The 28-year-old was in fine from for Gala last season, chalking up three goals and 10 assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.
