My friend Andreja Dr Milutinović AC Milan Head of science took Zlatan Ibrahimović, Ante Rebić and Rade Krunić to his clynic in Belgrade for series of fitness tests. I know Ante and Rade from before but had first chance to meet Ibrahimović. We all spoke at the lunch and dinner in Belgrade, of course mostly about football. I can not tell you details. But can tell you that Ibrahimović is such an inteligent, funny and wise guy. He thinks about every detail, has deep knowledge about the game, relationships in the team, football society, family, culture in the countries where he lived. Also, he treated everyone with respect and in the nicest manner. So, I didnt tell you much, but maybe it helps you to create more clear image of him.

🔵⚽ Unforgettable Moments in Football: A Tale of Resilience and Triumph ⚽🔵 On November 22, 2023, at 1:30 PM (Madrid Time), the iconic Brazil-Argentina football match at Maracanã promised a spectacular display of skill and rivalry. Little did we know, it would transform into a scene of chaos. As the teams stepped onto the pitch, pandemonium erupted in the stands. The relatively small group of Argentine fans clashed with the Brazilian police, turning what was supposed to be a beautiful game into a horrifying spectacle. In a remarkable show of sportsmanship, the majority of the Argentine squad and Marquinhos, the captain of Brazil, attempted to calm the unruly crowd, urging an end to the distressing situation. The Argentine team briefly withdrew to the locker room in protest, returning only minutes later. The match kicked off 27 minutes later than scheduled at 1:57 PM. The first half mirrored the chaos in the stands, with a physical and lackluster display of football. However, the second half saw a remarkable shift in mindset. Both teams embraced a more refined style, showcasing beautiful plays and skillful football. The lone goal of the match came at the 63rd minute, courtesy of Argentine central defender and Benfica captain, Nicolas Otamendi. This goal secured a 1-0 victory for the reigning world champions. 🌟 Conclusion: A Lesson in Resilience and Unity 🌟 This extraordinary event serves as a reminder that even in the face of adversity, sportsmanship and unity prevail. In life, as in football, challenges may arise, but the ability to adapt and work together leads to success. Let's learn from this story and approach our own challenges with the same resilience. #Football #UELinkedInMKTChallenge6

I'm a Federer+Nadal Fan. But today this is an acknowledgement of the sheer determination of Novak Djokovic. One can only be in awe of what he has been doing. I didn't get to watch the match, but here's a quick leadership takeaway from his post match press conference that showed up on my timeline. Got me thinking on the relevance of continual renewal and reinvention as I was in a room full of development sector GOATs yesterday to think about 3.0 of an amazing organisation in India. NEVER.STOP.INNOVATING. 1. Reinvent and Innovate: Embrace change after failures, and constantly reinvent what success means for you. 2. Don't Give Up: Keep pushing forward and looking ahead. Learn from the past but focus on what you can change in the future 3. Work Hard and Self-Train: There's no shortcut to hard work, continue to train your body (and mind) and adapt to changes. 4. Healthy Rivalries: Competition will always be there. Recognise the talent and use that you motivate yourself 5. Maintain playfulness, and recognise stress and consciously build your destress zones. (Could be the puppy at home) 6. Keep the Passion: Never lose your love for what you do. #SportsLeadership #NovakDjokovic #Inspiration"

To see everything taken from us is sickening." Spoke to a football fan from Hungary about the country's most hated team, Puskás Akadémia, and why they are so disliked for my latest blog:
