The Indomitable Lions make their final World Cup squad cut as Cameroon call-up Eto'o and Song to their 23-man team for Brazil

Cameroon announced their 28-man provisional squad ahead of the 2014 World Cup, in June. The list of players included many of the Indomitable Lions' European names, with players from England, Spain, France, and even Turkey, starring.

However, the list brought together two estranged compatriots: Chelsea attacker Samuel Eto'o and Barcelona's Alex Song.

The two African stars have had a rocky relationship, one that is believed to have been sparked by Eto'o's nomination as the national team's captain, taking the armband from the ex-Arsenal midfielder's cousin, Rigobert Song. Ever since then, the La Liga and English Premier League figures have been involved in a war of words.

As to whether the two can co-exist, side-by-side, only time will tell.

Eto'o and Song will be joined by Fenerbahce striker Achille Webo, FC Lorient's Vincent Aboubakar, Sevilla midfielder Stephane Mbia, Queens Park Rangers defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto (on loan from Tottenham), Marseille center-back Nicolas Nkoulou, and Galatasaray defender Aurelien Chedjou.
