Marko Djurdjevic

Marko Djurdjevic started to draw when he was a kid, taking inspiration from cartoons like “He-Man”. When he was 11, he discovered the anatomy book “Dynamic Anatomy” by Burne Hogarth and began to develop his own art, adding a level of realism thanks to the insertion of elements from everyday life.

As a teenager, he was influenced by American comics like “Spider-Man” and at the age of 17, he started working as a professionist for some role play publishing houses, drawing black and white sketches. One of his friends convinced him to put some of his works on the website conceptart.org and, from that moment, his great talent will be recognised.

After finding a job very quickly, he moved to the U.S. where he worked for 3 years and a half teaching seminars and workshops.

Conceptart.org founders proposed to him to curate a DVD guide for cartoonists, where he recreated 18 X-Men characters. The guide was so successful that Marvel itself contacted him to illustrate some of its covers.

Since 2004, he takes care of “Degenesis”, a post-apocalyptic genre role play that, according to him, remains the funniest project he has worked on.
