The very first Hollywood live action Spider-Man from the modern era was played by Tobey Maguire in the early '2000s. An entire franchise from Sony that became a cultural phenomenon, the actor became one of the most recognizable faces in the entire world almost overnight. Spider-Man is arguably on of the two or three most believed super heroes in comic book history, Tobey Maguire knew this and feel in love with the character. He was out of the loop for many years after that but Kevin Feige proved he might have big plans for him in the MCU.

After making his wildly successful as Peter Parker on the big screen with 'Spider-Man: No Way Home', the actor was asked if he would ever return to reprise his role. Maguire didn't hesitate to reveal how much he adores playing this character. It all came from a new book about the production of the film that earned $1.9 billion in the worldwide box office. The Titan Books' publication has a small part they teased where fans surely got excited as one of the stars definitely wants to return. Keep in mindthat Kevin Feige's plan is to continue telling what he calls 'The Multiverse Saga', where Maguire's Peter Parker comes from.

Tobey Maguire says 'Finally!'

This is the small passage of the book, where Maguire responss to how he felt playing this charcter again: "When they called initially, I was like finally! I got the call and was immediately open about coming to do this. Not without nerves - you know, 'What will this look like and what will the experience be?' But to get to show up with beautiful, talented, creative people and play together? It's just like, 'Yes!' It's fun and exciting....I love these films and I love all of the different series. If these guys called me and said, 'Would you show up tonight to hang out and goof around?' or 'Would you show up to do this movie or read a scene or do a Spider-Man thing?', it would be a 'yes!' Because why wouldn't I want to do that?"
