A Nigerian striker with a Bundesliga pedigree has drawn MLS interest, according to a story from online outlet Score Nigeria.

Anthony Ujah has cancelled his contract with Chinese side Liaoning Whowin and returned to Germany with his family. But clubs "Like LA Galaxy or Seattle Sounders" have shown interest in the forward, who before moving to China enjoyed consecutive double-digit goal seasons in the Bundesliga, with Cologne in 2014-15 and Werder Bremen the following year.

The Galaxy experienced more of their troubles on the defensive end in their miserable 2017 campaign. But they would still benefit from a player of Ujah's caliber up front as they try to rebound in 2018 while potentially parting ways with Gyasi Zardes.

The Sounders have also been shown a willingness to add quality depth even if they appear set at a position, and they could need some attacking help depending on Clint Dempsey's future.
