MORDOVIA, RUSSIA (June 28, 2018) - Red Bulls defender Fidel Escobar played the full 90 for Panama, in a 2-1 loss to Tunisia, on Thursday, at Mordovia Stadium. This was Escobar's third match in a row in which he played the entire match.

With the loss, Panama failed to capture a win in the group stage, which aside from Tunisia, also featured two powerhouses in Belgium and England.

The lone bright spot of the match for Los Canaleros came in the 33rd minute, when José Luis Rodríguez scored for Panama, to give them a 1-0 lead going into halftime.

Michael Amir Murillo, who picked up his second yellow card in the 72nd minute in the previous match against England, was not available for today's match.

With Panama now officially eliminated from the 2018 FIFA World Cup, both Escobar and Murillo will rejoin the New York Red Bulls, and should be available after the Red Bulls play Toronto this Sunday.
