UD Almería recorded their first league victory of the 2023/24 season at the 29th time of asking.
The Rojiblancos have gone close to winning on several occasions this season only to have eventually suffered draws or defeats.
But at last, the Andalusian club were able to record their first win of the season after a narrow win over Las Palmas.
Brazilian Léo Baptistão scored the only goal of the game with former Manchester United youth team player Largie Ramazani getting the assist.
Almería needed some last-ditch defending to hold on to the lead and eventually held on to finally taste victory in La Liga.
With that win, Almería remain bottom of the Spanish first division and are now 13 points away from safety.
