That thing is bleached to hell and back! Make sure you feed it often, daily if it will accept it, and it will color up in no time. :)

The only white anemones are NPS.

Basically, there is little to no zooxanthellae in the tentacles, which is why it is white. When it restores the zooxanthellae (if it is fed to retain and become healthier), it will be brown most likely, or possibly purple-, blue-, or green-tinted.

Even Live Aquaria sells them like that, unfortunately. Luckily, though, they're hardy anemones and it doesn't usually kill them.

XHe's not bleached and he is feed every day :xd:
Didn't see the edit ;)

It is bleached, but feeding every day will help keep him going. Anemones don't culture zooxanthellae nearly as rapidly as in corals or clams, so it usually takes many months for them to color up. In the pic I see that the ends of the tentacles are darker than the bottoms, and will eventually all look like that.

It is bleached --- what size tank do you have?
What lights?

While this is an M. doreensis you can see what a bleached anemone can turn into if given the proper care;

word of advice do NOT put clownfish in the tank with it. if they try to host it then it will eat them. they wont let anything host in them. i had a pair that got eaten over night.
