      Shawn D Spoiler alert. The very first case is a prime example of how someone who is innocent could be convicted of doing something they hadn't done. No one in this series comes off as knowing the basics about investigating a crime or pacing the storytelling of one. They place considerable B-roll vignettes of the investigators rowing boats and jogging, and zero time showing any kind of actual basic police work they did that led the resolving of them. Literal dumb luck or Police Procedure Day 1 tasks solved 3 of the 4 cases, yet we're led to believe it was days and days into the cases before anyone thought to check with friends, track down relatives who could be involved, see the family has a long history of drug abuse, etc... We caught ourselves hitting the pause and asking WTF did you not do this or that on Day 1 so many times it took us 3x as long to get through it. Ain't nobody got time for that... They were supposedly being filmed for three years and never aged-no one took a look at the first cut and realized how disjointed the time allotments for story verses conclusions were? So many scenes were at best recreations for drone/3 camera shoots they had ample opportunity to get it right. The execution is truly 1-star, but the fact it got me, and my family so riled up and talking about it better or worse is a 5-star event, so I split the diff-- 3- Stars Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/06/23 Full Review Ryan M Difficult to watch or find authentic.
