Ghana had apparently named their 30-man preliminary roster for the World Cup over the weekend. The problem? it wasn't real.
Whether the roster that made the rounds was a leak or completely made up is unclear, but the Ghana FA released a statement that the roster definitely wasn't real.

"We wish to state categorically that there is absolutely no truth in the GNA report. Coach Kwesi Appiah has not presented a provisional 30-man Black Stars squad to the GFA and has not prepared any such squad for any purpose."
Teams do not have to submit their preliminary rosters to FIFA until May 13 and Jurgen Klinsmann is not expected to announce the U.S. roster until then. Final 23-man rosters have to be submitted by June 2.
The U.S. and Ghana will meet again on June 16 in each team's first match of the 2014 World Cup. The contest in Natal could end up deciding who makes it out of Group G as the second place team behind presumed group winners Germany.
