Argentina striker caught on video outside Pacha nightclub in Ibiza
Higuaín had been taunted over missed penalty in Copa América final

The Napoli striker, Gonzalo Higuaín, was reportedly caught up in a fight with a supporter while on holiday in Ibiza.

The 27-year-old, who scored two goals for Argentina as they reached the final of the Copa América earlier this month before losing to Chile on a penalty shootout, has been enjoying a break on the Balearic island with the Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.

El Mundo newspaper stated on Wednesday that the pair were leaving the Pacha nightclub in the early hours when they were approached by a fan, who asked the former Real Madrid striker for an autograph. When Higuaín refused, the supporter reportedly shouted out “you cannot score penalties” in reference to his missed spot-kick in the shootout.

Wearing a distinctive black hat, a video released by the newspaper appears to show Higuain reacting angrily before shouting: “Delete the video or I’ll rip off your head.” The brawl then seems to die down as Higuaín is dragged away from the scene.
