The Belgian international, preparing for his country's last 16 clash with Japan has so far refused to commit his long-term future at Stamford Bridge.

Courtois is reportedly keen to return to Spain to be near his children with Real Madrid on red alert.

Alisson is another keeper on Los Blancos shopping list, the Brazilian is also a target for Liverpool.

Schmeichel is regarded as one of the best keepers in the Premier League, and the Blues who are close to appointing Maurizio Sarri as their new boss are prepared to test the Foxes resolve if they lose Courtois, claim Sky Sports.

Roma could also make their move if as expected Alisson leaves Serie A this summer.

The 31-year-old Dane was in sparkling form for his country, but could not prevent them crashing out of the World Cup on penalties to Croatia.

Schmeichel struggled for form last season and missed the last five games of the campaign through injury.

The Foxes No1 has another three years on his King Power contract and boss Claude Puel will be desperate to hold on to his experienced stopper.
